Dragon Assault Card Guide

The Dragon Assault is the officially named Chinese power that "floods the board in a single turn". It is the empire's reset button and its win condition: whether you are rebuilding after a clear or going wide from behind, the assault is how China turns one turn into a full board.

A one-turn board flood is worth the most in two situations: immediately after the opponent spends their sweep (they cannot answer twice), and on the turn it wins the game (they never get to answer at all). Casting it into a hand that still holds removal is how Chinese decks lose winnable matches.

Dragon Assault is the reason China cannot be ignored. Opponents who leave a Chinese board alone are not conserving resources — they are donating the turn the flood arrives.
