v0.8.0 – Animation & Feel Update (2026-09-29)

Released one day after launch based on early player feedback. Every key moment on the board now has motion, impact and sound:

  • Cards now slide from your hand to the board and land with a thump and a puff of dust.
  • Attacks: units lunge at their target, hits shake the enemy and damage numbers pop up on screen.
  • Unit deaths: cards fade to grey and crumble into ash instead of vanishing.
  • Promotion (Terfi) gets its own golden burst — it deserves it.
  • Card draws fly in from the deck and the Seal button pulses when it's ready.
  • New ornate attack-targeting arrow (green = valid target, red dashed = not allowed).
  • Opening hand: after confirming your mulligan, the new cards now stay on screen until you press OK.
  • Animation speed option (Normal / Fast) in Settings.
Sound effects for the new animations are placeholders for now; final clips are coming in a small follow-up patch.

v0.8.0 Hotfix (2026-09-29)

Small UI cleanup in the Settings menu — removed the separate animation speed button. No gameplay changes.

v0.8.1 – Animations & Polish (2026-09-30)

Two days of rapid iteration. Battles feel alive:

  • Music now plays again after a match when you move on to the next opponent or retry.
  • Card texts no longer run under the frame or the gems — every card was checked in English and Turkish.
  • Several screens that stayed in English with Turkish selected are now translated: Deck Builder, End Turn button, Load screen.
  • Hovering over a card you cannot afford no longer shows a bright yellow glow.
The developer reads every report on the Steam discussion board — bugs and balance feedback go there fastest.
