Units, War Machines and Abilities
The officially revealed cards sort into three roles. Units are the bodies you promote, trade and win with — the rank ladder (recruit to captain to governor) is what makes a unit worth more than its stats. War Machines are the empire's special hardware: cannon that answers walls, guns that answer time. Abilities are the one-shot or standing powers — burns, silences, floods, binds — that shape the match around the bodies. The full 149-card set will be catalogued here as data becomes available after launch.
| Card | Type | In One Line |
|---|---|---|
| Siege Cannon | War Machine | Ottoman cannon that brings down walls |
| Conscription | Ability | Turns the enemy's men to your side |
| Greek Fire | Ability | The Byzantine burn that punishes committed boards |
| Byzantine Diplomacy | Ability | Silences the one card you cannot answer |
| Powder Soldiers | Unit | Chinese soldiers that explode on death |
| Dragon Assault | Ability | Floods the board in a single turn |
| The Immortals | Unit | Persian unit that is always replaced |
| War Elephants | Unit | The heavy finisher of the Persian roster |
| Coalition | Ability | Binds the Austrian army into one body |
| Austrian Guns | War Machine | The guns that speak every turn |
What Is Officially Known Before Launch
Tughra: Seals of Empire ships with 149 cards across five empires. Before release, the studio has published each empire's playstyle and its signature units and powers — those are the ten entries above, quoted from the official Steam page and the developer's site. Card-by-card stats, Treasure costs and deck-building rules will be documented here as the game reveals them. Nothing on this page is invented: where a detail is not yet official, it says so.
