Powder Soldiers Card Guide

Powder Soldiers are the officially named Chinese unit that "explodes on death". They invert the fundamental math of trading: normally, killing enemy units is pure profit for the attacker — against Powder Soldiers, every clear costs the attacker something. Full stats arrive at launch.

Death-triggered units reward reckless deployment and punish hesitant clears. As the Chinese player, attack into trades aggressively — your soldiers are worth more dying than blocking. As the opponent, the question is whether to clear and eat the explosions or leave the board and risk the Dragon Assault. There is no clean answer, which is the point.

The official Chinese identity is "gunpowder and numbers". Powder Soldiers are the gunpowder half; the numbers half is every cheap body you wrap around them. Together they define the empire's swarm plan.
